First of all, you don't really need to know SEO Jargon if you are an SEO. This is because people doing search engine optimization don't really need to be part of an SEO blog.


Most SEO blogs are full of nonsense meant to distract you from your main purpose which is to drive traffic to your website. The awful problem with SEO communities is that they are normally filled with so called seo experts who like to theorize about these things. When newbies sign up to the blogs and follow everyone's advice they will find out much later on that more than 50% is  useless information. You see, people will use a technique to entice people to visit their websites to find answers and people will post questions on a numerous amount of topics. The more questions people post, the richer the keyword content of the SEO site will become. The more controversial and confusing the blog, the more continued interest it will attract. That is because certain people calling themselves an SEO, are not really interested in SEO. They are interested in getting more visitors to their confusing SEO website. Most SEO blogs don't necessarily care if anyone benefits from the discussions. What they want is your content. 


So, the best way to get a continual stream of content is to create an atmosphere of confusion, doubt and mistrust. Someone who has spent several years reading nonsense might finally wake up and realize that there is no single technique for SEO and  the experiences of two different SEO's may be valid but because they have been working in different industries their notes will not be the same. I can tell you straight off that there are many people who have successful websites who never even visit a blog to post. Ah? Where are they going to get their backlinks from? Do they need backlinks? Why don't you befriend those people? Maybe one day they will tell you how difficult it was to get to where they are. They will tell you about the days, months and years they have spent trying to improve their overall exposure on the internet. Their advice is going to be far more valuable to you than something you picked up from a blog. Maybe you disagree with me but I am sure you are going to agree with this - "Whatever is stopping you from continually updating and improving the content of your site is not going to help"

THREE O ONE REDIRECT   (301 Redirect) (permanently moved or moved permanently – This is a popular method of diverting or redirecting a website page (even the index page) to somewhere else i.e a new location. You might want to know about this because of something called a Canonical URL. Some people don't believe that this is a problem. If you are unsure about it then try it out. Whether it is important or not will be up to you and your future findings.

THREE O TWO FOUND  ( 302 Found ) – A temporary divert redirect method for the purpose of moving a universal resource locator (URL) to another place- however it will be found again at the original place in the future . Whois bid domain name website does not use any scripts of this sort. Of course there are  valid applications where this can be used but there is much abuse on the internet in relation to temporary redirects. It's probably best to not use them if you are not sure about what you are doing.

                           WHAT IS A SEARCH ENGINE ALGORITHM? 

In laymen's terms an ALGORITHM is a bunch of formulas that search engines employ to attempt to give relevant results when someone does a search for a particular thing. There are people claiming that they know these algorithms and can manipulate the companies who use them. I believe these claims are bogus because if they actually "did" know, they would certainly not be advertising this information and most definitely would not be selling it for a small amount of money. Stay away from people making these kinds of claims or even hinting that they know the answers. These people will be asking you to sign up to a course which might actually destroy your website in the end.

ALT Tag  - THIS IS AN HTML tag and it is used with images so that the images have  a text description. It is really important if you want your website to be found using IMAGE SEARCH  It is probably more important for search engine ranking than people realize. Remember that search engines don't like people copying images so I believe that original images can be even more important than an ALT TAG.

ANCHORS – Anchor Text . This is used to point someone to a part of a page when you click the link. It's almost like pointing them to a new web page but what is a web page anyway? I am not using anchors on this page but you might want to use them if you have a long page with lots of subjects on them.

BACK LINKS OR BACKLINKS – What you need to know is that  true backlinks can give power to your website. The web is filled with backlink deception and it is important for you to know that most websites (who are actually people) are stingy because they want to maintain their power and exploit other people's material to do it. Don't become one them- BE GENEROUS and give credit to people when it is DUE to them. Link to resources you feel are useful. Obviously you probably don't want to link to your competitors so you can chose sites that are not directly related but have interesting things related to your industry or subject.

BOTS – Web Crawlers or search engine spiders  If you don't understand what these are it is important for those who want to monitor what is going on with their website to know about the spiders. The Whois bid domain has opened up some of it's own info to those who want to see the reality of building a website in 2010 and onwards. We don't care about showing who we are. We are a legit site with unique content. If we don't get noticed then search engines have failed distinguish unique content from spam.


BROKEN LINKS – You need to check that you do not have broken hyperlinks on your site every once in a while. You don't need to pay for this when you have a great free broken link checker 


COPYRIGHT  – Copyright gives the domain or website owner the rights to what he displays on his site (as long as it is his) Unless you are extremely wealthy and have lots of time to spare chasing people who have copied your material you should just forget about it and allow people to copy whatever they want in the hope that search engines will be intelligent enough in future to penalize more and more people who do this. Since I started this website I have noticed a few websites have already copied some of my text and images. There is nothing you can do about this really, so just live with it and hope that the search engines pick up the fact that others are copying you and give you credit for being the original.


DESCRIPTION TAG – When you see search engine "SNIPPETS" about a page it is because those words were put in the description tag. You ought to know about these things as they are important. HIDDEN TEXT – This is a technique that people use to hide the true text from people but show it to a search engine bot. I don't care if I did not explain it properly . Simply, don't do it! Search engines are much cleverer than you imagine. Just build your website in an honest way but use all your cleverness to think of how you can get more traffic using honest and traditional methods. As search engines get cleverer they will weed out the tricky people more and more. Just wait and see and remember WHOIS BID told you this.

LINK BUILDING – Forget about all of those affiliate programs. Sooner or later the people who have not been caught are going to be caught. Some of these people have fooled others into their deceptive pyramid schemes.
